Dear students,
- ENG 121 FINAL EXAMwill be held on Tuesday, 18.08.2026, at 10:00. Students should be present in their classrooms by 09:45 at the latest for necessary preparations and announcements to be made. (Click here to see the exam you will enter the exam in.) Students are required to have their Çankaya University identification card and National ID card with them.
- The exam covers 7 weeks’ topics in the ENG 121 course syllabus and Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and Unit 7 – Reading 1 from Skillful 4 Reading & Writing Book. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions in three sections:
- Reading (1 reading Text-Comprehension, Critical Thinking Skills, Main Idea; 45 points)
- Reading (Extensive Reading-General questions related to reading 1 and 2 of Unit-8 such as topic, main idea, genre, purpose, the author’s attitude towards the subject, and the connection between the two texts; 15 points)
- Vocabulary (40 points)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The exam booklet includes Writing Task 2: Writing a Summary and Response Essay (350 – 400 words; 10 points) for the ENG 121 course on the last page. The time necessary for the Writing Task has been added to the exam duration; the total time given for the ENTIRE EXAM and WRITING TASK is 120 minutes. It is the responsibility of the students to manage the time allocated for the exam and task.
