ENG 321 Advanced Communication Skills is an integrated course designed with the aim of equipping students with the necessary speaking skills they need to deal with the English language in their future careers. Apart from the main focus on speaking skills, the course aims to improve students’ ability to use language effectively in professional settings and speaking exams. To this end, it revolves around advanced speaking skills, including the expression of opinions, display of agreement / disagreement on a point, and functional use of language, which will help students become more confident and competent users of English. The reading and listening skills will be utilized as a means for speaking outcomes as well as practicing language structures.
