Dear students,

  • ENG122 FINAL EXAM will be held on Wednesday, 12 June 2024 at 12:30. Students are expected to be present in their exam rooms by 12:10 in order for us to carry out all necessary exam procedures and make announcements (Click here to see your exam room). Please, do not forget your student ID cards and an extra ID card.
  • The exam covers topics from the first 10 weeks of Eng122 student pack and the first 10 units of Contemporary Topics 3 book; it consists of multiple choice questions and is 100 points in total. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes.

 

Parts of the final exam will be executed as follows:

·         ENG122 FINAL EXAM (60 mins.)

·         30 POINTS – LISTENING-1 (Listening- note-taking) (You are going to hear the listening text ONCE.)

§  Going over the note-taking sheet to take notes)

§  2 mins. silence and Listening (listening to the text ONCE)

§  8 mins. silence to go to the questions page and answer the questions)

·         30 POINTS – LISTENING-2 (Listening to a conversation)(You are going to hear the listening text ONCE and answer the questions while listening)

§  3 mins. silence (to read the questions)

§  Listening (listening to the text ONCE)

§  3 mins. to Check the answers

 

·         30 POINTS – VOCABULARY

·         10 POINTS – DISCUSSION STRATEGIES

 

 

WARNING-1: You will answer the questions in Listening-1 after listening to the lecture ONCE and have taken notes on note-taking sheet. Therefore, the booklets will be distributed to you upside down while listening to the lecture. It is forbidden to open the booklets before the LECTURE IS OVER. You are expected to take and check your booklet as soon as the LECTURE (Listening-1) is over. You will have 8 minutes to answer the questions and check your answers.

WARNING-2: No one is allowed to leave the exam room until the listening session is over. (30 minutes)
